Both sites are on Bathampton Meadows, where campaigners have campaigned against the proposals since they were first suggested. Site F is on land to the east of Mill Lane, while site B is on land to the west of Mill Lane. 

Local ward Councillor Alison Millar (Lib Dem, Bathavon North) said: “This is the day that local residents to the East of Bath have been dreading. Make no mistake, the Special Cabinet meeting next week is merely a show piece; the political decision, by this Conservative cabinet, has already been thrashed out behind closed doors.”
